After three decades of navigating Corporate America, we decided it was time to trade in our spreadsheets for roadmaps and our office chairs for hiking boots. We are officially downsizing our lives but upsizing our horizons as we set out to explore the US and Canada before catching a flight to see the rest of the world.
We call this new chapter the "Low Friction Life." For us, that means traveling simply, shedding the weight of "stuff," and focusing entirely on the things that make us feel alive: the roar of a hidden waterfall, the smell of a dusty corner in a local bookstore, and the quiet thrill of a new trail.
Joining us on this adventure is Piper, our loyal dog, who is currently reviewing her contract and remains notably less enthusiastic about the "low friction" lifestyle than we are. Whether we’re chasing nature or our next great read, we’re just two engineers finally applying our problem-solving skills to the art of wandering.
